  2. Police vs. Seniors 2020 Olympic Challenge – The Mask-a-Rade

    As part of National Crime Prevention Month, Durham’s popular Police vs. Seniors Olympic Challenge is going curbside this year in the form of a Mask-a-Rade. This long-standing, friendly rivalry between the patrons of the Durham Center for Senior Life (DCSL) and officers of the Durham Police Department (DPD) will take place this year on Thursday, November 5, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the center’s parking lot (406 Rigsbee Avenue, Durham, NC 27701). The event will be a drive-through competition with seniors and police officers competing in no-contact activities safely and conveniently from their vehicles. COVID precaution guidelines will be followed.
