Durham Immigrant & Refugee Virtual Town Hall: Coronavirus, Vaccines, and Beyond
Tuesday, February 23, 2021
You're invited to join the upcoming Multilingual Immigrant and Refugee Virtual Town Hall, broadcast in three languages to discuss housing assistance, financial assistance, COVID-19 and vaccines, and education.
On behalf of the Immigrant and Refugee Round Table of the Recovery and Renewal Task Force, we extend an invitation to participate in our upcoming Multilingual Immigrant and Refugee Virtual Town Hall.
Why you won't want to miss:
- The Round Table is piloting a community-led planning process, where immigrant and refugee community members are helping to set the agenda and write the questions asked of local leaders and elected officials.
- This is the first time we will feature the City's new capability to simultaneously broadcast a meeting in 3 languages! There will also be a "Virtual Watch Party" for Swahili speakers, hosted by CWS and World Relief Durham, to extend our language access abilities even further.
- An opportunity to hear directly from community members about their concerns and ideas for a Durham community where we can all thrive.
Links will be live at time of event!
