Hayti Heritage Film Festival2021-03-01T00:00:00 The Hayti Heritage Film Festival (HHFF) is pleased to present The Hero’s Journey, its 27th annual film festival taking place March 1 – 6, 2021. One of the nation’s longest-running Black film festivals, HHFF is the region’s signature event each year to keep Black Southern film alive. The 2021 edition will be mainly virtual with films from new and veteran artists, panel discussions with industry experts, a series of in-person drive-in events, and an online, live performance. Festival attendees will be able to screen outstanding work from the African diaspora, and take a deep dive into the craft of filmmaking. All Access tickets are on sale now through Jan. 31st! The full schedule and individual tickets will be available Feb. 1, 2021.

Big Night in for the Arts2021-03-11T19:00:00Durham Arts Council (DAC) is proud to announce a collaborative effort between four Triangle arts councils and WRAL to support our local arts communities. Join us for Big Night In for the Arts to celebrate local arts and help begin a path of recovery and reentry post-pandemic. Proceeds will fund arts programming, initiatives for equity in the arts, and arts relief efforts. Performances by Ariana DeBose, Branford Marsalis, Mandolin Orange, and Mike Wiley Productions.
