Proclamation Request

  1. To help reduce the spread of COVID-19, many City of Durham employees, including the Mayor & Council Office, are working from home. All approved proclamation requests will be signed & delivered by email, or picked up by appointment with the City Clerk. A valid email address must be provided at the time of the request.

    Requests are honored at the Mayor’s discretion. The Mayor reserves the right to decline any proclamation request or edit any draft language. Requests for proclamations to be presented at council meetings are also approved at the discretion of the Mayor.
