Durham Wins $25K Grant to Expand Shared Streets Pilot Project
Residents of Alma, Benjamine, Spruce, Maple, and Taylor streets will soon have more options to enjoy the outdoors through the City’s Shared Streets pilot project thanks to a recent grant to help fund a program specifically for their East Durham community.
City Offers Community-Rooted Partners Development Course
The Neighborhood Improvement Services Department will host a series of FREE classes to educate community organizations on the City's contracting processes and how to become a partner in engaging Durham's underserved neighborhoods and communities.
Durham Seeks Student Members for Cultural Advisory Board
College and high school students with an interest in public service and the arts now have the opportunity to serve on the Durham Cultural Advisory Board. Applications will be accepted through Sunday, October 18.
