Public Hearing Notice: Durham City Council - August 3, 2020 at 7 p.m.

Public hearings will be held to discuss the following: Annexations - Twin Lakes Conservation Subdivision (BDG1900023), Olive Branch West (BDG2000004); Zoning Map Changes - Twin Lakes Conservation Subdivision (Z1900047A), Olive Branch West (Z2000025A); Street Closing - Kew Place Closing (SC1900002).

The Durham City Council will hold virtual public hearings on August 3, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. to hear the following requests:

Annexations: 
  • Twin Lakes Conservation Subdivision (BDG1900023) is a request to for a contiguous annexation of 5.054 acres located at 1003 Freeman Road on the south side of Clayton Road.
  • Olive Branch West (BDG2000004) is a request for a contiguous expansion of the existing corporate limits totaling 56.367 acres located 434 Olive Branch Road
Zoning Map Changes: 
  • Twin Lakes Conservation Subdivision (Z1900047A) is a request to change zoning district located at 1003 Freeman Road from Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District B (F/J-B), County Jurisdiction to Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District B (F/J-B), City Jurisdiction.
  • Olive Branch West (Z2000025A) is a request to change zoning district located 434 Olive Branch Road from Residential Rural (RR), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District B (F/J-B), County Jurisdiction to Residential Rural (RR), Falls/Jordan Watershed Protection Overlay District B (F/J-B), City Jurisdiction.
Street Closing:
  • Kew Place Closing (SC1900002) is a request to permanently close Kew Place, a 89.91-linear foot unimproved right-of-way.
