Horticulture & Landscaping
These crews concentrate on enhancing the aesthetic value of our public spaces. They install, mulch, weed, and irrigate, shrubs, seasonal plantings, and perennial beds. Special attention is given to the 12-block area of Downtown that includes pocket parks, plazas, courts, and other civic spaces.
These crews provide maintenance of grassed areas including, play meadows, and along rights-of-way. They manage vegetation growth in designated naturalized areas in parks, stream buffers, and along trails.
