Digital accessibility refers to ensuring that our digital content can be accessed and understood by everyone, including those with disabilities. Working to meet ADA accessibility guidelines is a priority and requirement for City of Durham websites and digital content.

  • An introduction to this topic is provided to web managers and editors through our Web Basics training (see above).
  • Additional training resources are also available to help City staff who create digital content - including websites, emails, PDFs, social media, and video - understand and follow these guidelines.
