The Public Works Department is seeking a qualified firm to provide professional services for the development, implementation, and evaluation of a pilot study to determine the effectiveness of gross solids collection devices in stormwater catch basins in the 485-acre drainage area that drains to the site of the South Ellerbe Restoration Project. This drainage area is comprised of densely developed area, including downtown and residential areas. The major driver of this project is to implement catch basin inserts upstream of the South Ellerbe Restoration Project site in an effort to reduce the amount of maintenance needed at the project site and to determine if catch basin inserts are feasible for other locations. The pilot study drainage area is comprised of densely developed area, including downtown and residential areas.
