Interactive City Tree Map

Durham’s urban forest provides many benefits to City residents such as creating shade, filtering pollutants out of our air and water, and furnishing habitats for birds and other animals. This interactive map shows the location, size, and species of these trees (indicated by green dots), while highlighting some of the ecosystem services that they provide. This map also includes the locations of future tree planting sites (indicated by purple dots), showing areas where the City plans to plant new street trees in order to expand Durham’s urban forest.
