Project Description


The purpose of this project was to renovate restroom buildings as prioritized by the Durham Parks and Recreation Department. Scope of work included renovating restrooms to be ADA accessible, vandal-proof, and creating athletic equipment storage areas along with addressing various building deferred maintenance issues. The restrooms at Whippoorwill Southern Boundaries Parks will have year round access. Wrightwood Park restroom will remain seasonal.

Wrightwood Park Restroom Building was honored with the Golden Leaf 2017 People's Choice Award.
