Public hearings allow residents to comment on current issues involving the City. Public hearings are advertised and placed on the agenda for the City Council, board, committee, or commission meeting where they will be discussed.

Notice of Virtual Meetings

In light of the increased transmissibility and spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant, Durham City Council meetings and work sessions and board, committee, and commission meetings are being held virtually.

Ways to Provide Public Comment

To protect the health and safety of the public and staff during COVID-19, the City is currently holding most meetings in a virtual format. During this time, comments may be provided in the following ways:
