March 4, 2019

The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on March 4, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 101 City Hall Plaza, to hear the following requests:

Zoning Map Changes

Davis Park West (Z1800014) is a request to change the zoning district at 362 Davis Drive and 900 Merrion Avenue from Commercial General with a development plan to CG(D) to Mixed Use with a Development Plan (MU(D)).

Hale Street Duplex (Z1800026)
is a request to change the zoning district at 1020 Hale Street from Residential Urban -5  (RU-5) to Residential Urban -5(2) (RU-5(2)), no development plan.

Public Reviews: The application, staff reports, and maps can be reviewed at the City-County Planning Department, 101 City Hall Plaza, Ground Floor, weekdays, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. E-mail or call 919-560-4137, contact, ext. 28263.

Public Participation: Interested parties may appear at the meeting. Any person wishing to speak at the public hearing should be present at 5:30 p.m. and should sign up on the sheets to be provided. The Chair will recognize all persons wishing to speak. Substantial changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing for each case.
