February 18, 2019


The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on February 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 101 City Hall Plaza, to hear the following requests:

Street Closing

Radford Place (SC1800011) To permanently close a 422.84–linear foot entirety of public right-of-way located East of Andover Drive.

Annexations

Comstock Industrial (BDG 1800007) A request for a voluntary annexation petition to annex two contiguous parcels totaling 7.879 acres at 4509 Page Road and 5505 Comstock Road.

Zoning Map Change

Weaving Water Initial II (Z1900001A) is a request to change the zoning district at 3920 Rivermont Road to amend the zoning of 9.948 acres of land from Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Eno River District Watershed Protection Overlay (E-B), (County Jurisdiction) to Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20), Eno River District Watershed Protection Overlay (E-B),(City Jurisdiction).

Comstock Industrial (Z1800010)
is a request to change the zoning district at 4509 Page Road and 5505 Comstock Road from Residential Rural (RR), (County Jurisdiction) to Industrial Light (IL), (City Jurisdiction).

Public Participation: Interested parties may appear at the meeting. Any person wishing to speak at the public hearing should be present at 5:30 p.m. and should sign up on the sheets to be provided. The Chair will recognize all persons wishing to speak. Substantial changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing for each case. 

March 4, 2019


The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on March 4, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 101 City Hall Plaza, to hear the following requests:

Zoning Map Changes

Davis Park West (Z1800014) is a request to change the zoning district at 362 Davis Drive and 900 Merrion Avenue from Commercial General with a development plan to CG(D) to Mixed Use with a Development Plan (MU(D)).

Hale Street Duplex (Z1800026)
is a request to change the zoning district at 1020 Hale Street from Residential Urban -5  (RU-5) to Residential Urban -5(2) (RU-5(2)), no development plan.
