This division of Public Works is responsible for public roadway maintenance, street resurfacing, alley and sidewalk maintenance in the City, and the maintenance of the storm water drainage system within the City's right-of-way. Street Maintenance also plans and executes the City Winter Weather Plan to reduce the hazard to traffic created by snow and ice and debris from natural disasters. Within the Street Maintenance Division there is a Street Cleaning Division, and it is responsible for removing debris on city-maintained streets. It is also responsible for the removal of dead animals within the city right-of-way. Stormwater charges for city streets are paid in this program.

Summer hours of operation run from June 7 - September 10, 6:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.
