Celebrate Independence Day in Durham

Celebrate patriotism and civic pride with Durham Parks and Recreation and the Durham Bulls on Friday, July 4, 2014. Attend the baseball game and/or come and enjoy the fireworks.
 
Tickets are required for the game, but gates will open for general admission at the end of the 7th inning. The dynamic fireworks show will begin immediately following the game.

Participants must follow the guidelines:
Tailgating and/or alcohol is prohibited in the parking decks
No watching fireworks from the deck
No stopping or illegal parking on public streets or highways

Rain Date: July 5 (the game will begin at 7:05 p.m.)

If it rains, the call to cancel the fireworks will be made on July 4 by 7 p.m. Participants can call the DPR weather cancellation line at (919) 560-4636, option 8 for updates after 7 p.m.

If the fireworks show is cancelled due to inclement weather, patrons who purchased tickets for the July 4 game should save their tickets as a voucher for free entry into the July 5 game.
