The Armory has a new look! The renovations included refinishing the hardwood floors, baseboards, and stripping the painted brick walls in the ballroom. The drywall, wood finishes, and drop ceiling in the ballroom were painted and the lobby received new paint and finish upgrades. A new air conditioning system has been installed in the catering kitchen as well.
Tours are provided every first and third Monday from noon to 6 p.m. No appointment needed. Outdoor Plazas

Reservations are currently being taken for the 2015 shelter season. All shelter usage is on a first come, first serve basis until the beginning of the 2015 season.
Picnic Shelter Season: April 1 - October 31
Many Durham parks offer picnic shelters on a “first come, first served” basis. By making reservations, you are assured of having the picnic shelter of your choice. Permits must be purchased by Tuesday at 5 p.m. for the remainder of the work week and weekend.Campsites
