Campus Hill Pool Temporarily Closed For Maintenance

Some Programs/Activities Temporarily Relocated to Edison Johnson Aquatics Center

​Durham, N.C. – Campus Hills Pool at 2000 S. Alston Ave. will be temporarily closed for maintenance on Monday, August 13 and is scheduled to reopen on Thursday, August 16. The pool filters will be replaced. Patrons can visit the website www.DPRPlayMore.org for updates.

During the closure, evening water aerobics classes will be held at Edison Johnson Aquatics Center on 500 W. Murray Ave. at 7 p.m. Lap/recreation swim activities as well as some pool rentals will relocated to Edison Johnson. The noon water aerobics class will be cancelled. While Campus Hills is under repair, patrons can take a swim at one of the city’s outdoor pools. See the schedules below.

Hillside Pool and Spray Ground: 1221 Sawyer St., (919) 560-4783
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday (1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
Extended Hours of Operation (Free Swim):  Wednesdays (3 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

Long Meadow Pool: 917 Liberty St., (919) 560-4202
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday (1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
Extended Hours of Operation (Free Swim):  Mondays (3 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

Forest Hills Pool: 1639 University Dr., (919) 560-4782
Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday (1 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
Extended Hours of Operation (Free Swim):  Tuesdays (3 p.m. – 6 p.m.)

Fees for outdoor pools are as follows:
Youth and Mature Adults (Ages 4-17 and 60+) CR: $2 NCR: $4
Adults: (18 and older) CR: $3 NCR: $5
Children ages three and under are free of charge
CR: City Resident | NCR: Non-City Resident
