Stormwater Construction & Repairs

  1. 2013 Stormwater BMPs Maintenance (SWM 2013-01)

    The Stormwater BMPs Maintenance and Rehabilitation project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc., unless otherwise specified, for complete maintenance and rehabilitation activities performed on various stormwater BMPs at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

  2. 2013 Durham Rain Catchers (10-013)

    Durham Rain Catchers reduces the impact of stormwater runoff through residential rain gardens, trees, cisterns, and downspout disconnections. This phase of Rain Catchers will install rain gardens and trees at various residential sites in an area approximately encompassed by West Main Street to the south, Watts Street to the east, Club Boulevard to the north, and Hillandale Road to the west. The project is funded in part by the Clean Water Management Trust Fund.

  3. 2012 Drainage Repairs & Improvements (SD-2012-01)

    The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of repairs, rehabilitation, and improvements of stormwater drainage systems at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

  4. 2012 University Drive Culvert Replacement

    The University Drive Culvert Replacement (SD-2012-02) project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of approximately 190-feet of a cast-in-place 10-foot by 5-foot reinforced concrete box culvert and approximately 160-feet of a double 5-foot by 5-foot pre-cast box culvert to convey stormwater around an existing building and underneath University Drive near the intersection of US 15/501 and University Drive.

  5. 2012 W Knox Street Culvert Stabilization

    The 2012 West Knox Street Culvert Stabilization (SD-2012-03) project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete stabilization of the W Knox Street culvert by means of void filling and soil stabilization using a high density polyurethane system.​

  6. 2012 MS4 Inspections (SD-2012-04)​

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete inspection of portions of the MS4 for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham. Inspections of the MS4 will include location and verification of system components, inspections to locate possible illicit discharges into the system, and general inspections of system components to document condition.

  7. 2012 Old N Durham Park Infrastructure Improvements

    The 2012 Old North Durham Park Infrastructure Improvements (SD-2012-05)​​ project involves making improvements to the field including regrading for better drainage, the addition of soil amendments, the installation of sod on the 310-foot by 170-foot athletic/multi-use field, and the installation of an irrigation system.
