Stormwater Construction & Repairs

  1. 2013 Stormwater Infrastructure Rep. (SD-2013-01)

    The Stormwater Infrastructure Repairs and Improvements project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of repairs, rehabilitation, and improvements of stormwater drainage systems at various site locations throughout the City of Durham.

  2. 2013 Third Fork Creek Stream Rest. (SD-2013-03)

    The services for this project will include design, permitting, development of contract documents, and construction management for restoration, enhancement, creation and preservation of stream, buffer, and wetland areas in select reaches of Third Fork Creek.

  3. 2013 Routine Ditching & Pipe Repl. (SD-2013-04)

    The project involves the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete installation of replacement storm drainage pipe and structures as well as grading of existing road side ditches within City of Durham rights of way.

  4. 2014 MS4 Inspections (SD-2014-01)

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete inspection of portions of the MS4 for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham. Inspections of the MS4 will include location and verification of system components, inspections to locate possible illicit discharges into the system, and general inspections of system components to document condition.

  5. 2015 East Main St. Culvert Stab. (SD-2015-01)

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete stabilization of the East Main Street culvert by means of void filling and soil stabilization using a high density polyurethane system.

  6. 2015 Trenchless Pipe Repair (SD-2015-02)

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete stabilization of storm drainage pipe joints by means of void filling and soil stabilization using a polyurethane system as well as various trenchless pipe repairs throughout the city.

  7. 2016 Third Fork Creek Stream Rest. (SD-2016-03)

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the stream restoration of Third Fork Creek and new trail boardwalk between Martin Luther King, Jr. Parkway and Cardinal Drive.

  8. 2017 Stormwater Professional Services (SD-2017-01)

    The City of Durham plans to contract with several firms to provide Stormwater Professional Services for various stormwater projects. The work will include stormwater infrastructure and stormwater quality projects. The City is seeking firms whose combination of experience and expertise will provide timely, professional services.

  9. 2017 Stormwater Inventory Assessment (SD-2017-02)

    The City of Durham is seeking to determine the amount and condition of stormwater infrastructure located on City-owned property, specifically within parks, on trails, and within cemeteries. At this time the City departments who manage these facilities are responsible for the inventory and maintenance of stormwater infrastructure associated with the facilities (examples: Parks and Recreation Department is responsible for catch basins in parks and on trails; General Services Department is responsible for ditches in cemeteries). The City intends to shift responsibility for stormwater infrastructure in these areas to the Public Works Department over the next six years. The first step in this transfer is an inventory and condition assessment of the stormwater infrastructure associated with parks, trails, and cemeteries.

  10. 2017 MS4 Inspections (SD-2017-03)

    The project includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, tools, etc. unless otherwise specified, for the complete inspection of portions of the MS4 for specified site locations throughout the City of Durham.
