Rock ’N Roll High School House Band 

The Rock ‘N Roll School House Band program was formed in May 2016. The current band has seven members: Billy (vocals), Abby (vocals), Taylor (keyboard), Jonathan (guitar), Connor (bass), Sal (guitar), Noah (drums). All of them are local high school students.

The Rock 'N Roll High School House Band teaches young professionals what it’s like to be in a working band—everything from lugging equipment to being consistent and reliable performers. The band has learned songs ranging from 1970’s classic rock to all the hits! They’ve played numerous gigs around Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Raleigh.

The Majestic Angels is a senior group of ladies ranging from 58-74 years young. The group was formed in April 2015. 

Majestic paired with Angels stands for MA (Mom) - one who nurtures, teaches right from wrong, comforts and most of all, shows love to all.

Ranging in age from 61-82, the Durham Divas ‘n Dudes Cheerleaders of the Durham YMCA, continue to be “movers and shakers’ as they perform their high-spirited routines. They have performed at several universities, theaters, and special events throughout North Carolina, and appeared on major television and radio productions. They believe that “You don’t stop playing because you grow old; you grow old when you stop playing!"

The Bulltown Strutters are a Durham-based parade band, inspired by the Second Line street band tradition of New Orleans. They build camaraderie with fun songs and dance while inspiring onlookers to join the revelry.

The Selah Project Band is a group of progressive musicians coming together to bring the creativity of jazz to the relatability of popular music to the band stand. The group is comprised of Dwayne Jordan on drums, Kevin Beardsley on bass, Quincy Jones on keyboard, Shaquim Muldrow on saxophone, and Marvin J. Thorne on vocals. The musical grooming of these musicians comes from the emersion in the local music culture of Durham and surrounding areas. Whether you like hearing feel good music or want to enjoy complex yet relaxing textures, you're sure to have a great listening experience.
