This project involves the design of sidewalks on one side of Raynor Street from N. Miami to Hardee Street. Total length is 0.3 miles. The budget for the project is $364,435 The project vicinity is shown to the right under Project Information. The improvements include new sidewalks and accessible ramps.

Ramey Kemp and Associates of Raleigh, NC has been hired as the design firm to prepare plans, obtain permits, and hold informational meetings with stakeholders. They began data collection in February,2018 and currently are in 25% design phase of the project.
A drop-in style meeting is set for Thursday, May 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Senior Center of the Holton Career and Resource Center, located at 401 North Driver Street. Residents will be able to review the preliminary design, ask questions of City staff and consultants, and provide input before the department completes the design work. The goal of the project is to improve pedestrian accommodations and the proposed improvements include curbs and gutters, ramps, and sidewalks.
For residents who cannot attend this meeting, maps and comment forms to collect feedback will be available after the meeting date on this webpage. Resident feedback is due by June 14, and a second meeting will be scheduled for this project at a later date after receiving input and developing 65 percent plans.
