The Durham City-County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on November 13, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor, Durham, NC 27701, to consider the following:

UDO Text Amendments
TC1800008 –
Text-only Development Plan: Amendments to Sec. 3.5, Zoning Map Change, and other associated sections of the Unified Development Ordinance to provide standards for a text-only development plan.

Plan Amendment
Evaluation and Assessment Report of the Durham Comprehensive Plan (A1800001).
The applicants, City of Durham and Durham County, are requesting that changes to the Future Land Use Map made by each governing body in 2017 be rectified and that several amendments to the Durham Comprehensive Plan policies be adopted. In addition, the applicants request to change the future land use designation of three properties (PIDs 176925, 212017, 176924), totaling 111.17 acres, in the vicinity of Rivermont Road, to Recreation/Open Space (ROS).

Zoning Map Changes
Comstock Industrial (Z1800010)
is a request to change the zoning district at 4509 Page Road and 5505 Comstock Road from Rural Residential (RR) to Industrial Light (IL).

The Durham City Council will hold a public hearing on November 19, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 101 City Hall Plaza, to hear the following request:

Zoning Map Change
Barbee Road/54 Townhouses (Z1800011)
1007 East NC 54 and 6452 Barbee Road. The request is to change the zoning district from Commercial General with a Development Plan (CG(D)) to Commercial General with a Development Plan (CG(D)).
