Please be advised of the upcoming Durham Planning Commission public hearing for the following text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance:

TC1800003 – FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) Update: Technical amendment to Sec. 8.4, Floodplain and Flood Damage Protection Standards, to adopt revised Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) panels issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as required by FEMA and state law.

The Durham Planning Commission will hold the public hearing on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 101 City Hall Plaza, 1st Floor.

Agenda materials will be available online by June 28, 2018. The text of the proposed text amendment may be viewed at http://durhamnc.gov/415/Pending-Text-Amendments. Interested parties may appear and speak at the public hearing. Substantial changes to the proposed action may be made following the public hearing.

Zoning Map Changes
AAA Storage (Z1800003) is a request to change the zoning designation of property located at 750 and 804 Junction Road from Residential Suburban-20 (RS-20) to Industrial Light with a Development Plan (IL(D).
